The new National Museum of Qatar was inspired by a Desert Rose Rock which shook me once i got inside, trust me its a must see. The entrance is located at the back, not to worry they have vast parking space for hundred vehicle. They also have cafe and restaurants inside the building.
You can start by roaming around the open space surrounded by desert rose inspired building before going inside the museum itself. Signs are on the floor, watch out for it.
Make sure to visit every corner of it! If you want to see how it looked like inside i have uploaded short clip in Youtube search for SUDDENLY IN GULF!
